Overview

Molycop will have a strong presence at Conminución 2025, the 5th International Congress on Mineral Milling, to be held in Lima, Peru, on 27–28 November 2025. The event is a technical forum for the Spanish-speaking mining industry to network and deepen their understanding of milling technologies.

Two Molycop experts will present at the conference, offering specialist insights that participants can take away with them and apply to their operations.

Cesar Poma, Molycop Senior Process Engineer, will lead a presentation entitled Optimisation of Ball Mill Speed Ramp-up

Dante Garcia, Molycop Applications Leader, will present Alternatives for Optimising Semi-autogenous Grinding.

About the event

Over two days Conminución 2025 will bring together plant operators, researchers and technology providers to exchange knowledge on comminution processes, explore case studies and review the latest innovations and best practices in milling and energy efficiency.

The congress is chaired by Ing. Marcial Medina (Director of Processes, Plant & Projects at Hudbay Perú SAC) with vice-chair Ing. Edgar Canta (Plant Manager at Minera Las Bambas).

It will also feature a strong technical committee and backing from major mining companies and suppliers, and is expected to host more than 25 concentrator plants.
