Key Facts

  • Speak with Molycop delegates about solutions that enhance comminution efficiency, grinding media performance, and overall plant optimisation for copper and cobalt circuits.
  • Discover how advanced grinding media selection, circuit diagnostics, and digital optimisation can lift throughput while lowering variability and specific energy consumption.
  • The event convenes mining operators, investors, government, EPCs, OEMs, and technology providers to accelerate industrialisation, responsible sourcing, and bankable projects in the DRC—Africa’s largest copper producer and source of 70%+ of the world’s cobalt.

Overview

Molycop will attend DRC Mining Week 2026 to showcase integrated solutions that support high‑performance processing in the DRC’s copper–cobalt heartland. Our team will highlight how optimised grinding media, instrumentation, and data‑driven process control can reduce variability, improve recovery, and strengthen sustainability outcomes—while maintaining metallurgical performance.
With the DRC at the centre of the global energy transition, this year’s programme emphasises value‑chain development, infrastructure and power solutions, ESG and responsible sourcing, financing mechanisms, and regional partnerships—creating a strong platform for operators seeking tangible efficiency gains and investable growth.

About the Event

DRC Mining Week is the DRC’s longest‑running mining platform, returning to Lubumbashi from 17–19 June 2026. Hosted at the Pullman Lubumbashi Grand Karavia Hotel, the conference and exhibition bring together mining houses, government leaders, financiers, EPCs, OEMs, and technology innovators for strategic roundtables, technical workshops, and an international expo. Key themes for 2026 include in‑country beneficiation, cross‑border collaboration, and enabling infrastructure for mining‑led growth.
