That commitment was on display recently when Sean Mee, Molycop Account Manager based in Australia, travelled across Victoria to visit longstanding customers operating in historic gold mining regions.

Support for longstanding customers
Gold was first discovered in Victoria in the 1850s. While the methods and technologies associated with gold extraction have changed dramatically since then, the region remains one of the most significant contributors to Australia’s gold output. Molycop is proud to work alongside operators in this region, some of whom the company has partnered with for decades, helping them optimise their operations with technical solutions tailored to their needs.During the visit, Sean spent time on-site with metallurgists, plant operators and procurement teams, discussing everything from grinding media performance to downstream processing support and digital optimisation tools.
“We offer a broad range of technical services – from mill audits and performance reviews to digital monitoring solutions like MillSlicer,” Sean explains. “But just as important is our role in keeping the lines of communication open. Our customers know they can pick up the phone and get support when they need it – and our site visits help us stay aligned and proactive.”
