Advancing Process Control: Cynoprobe FAT with PT. Citra Palu Mineral

Molycop recently hosted PT. Citra Palu Mineral at our Cikande Plant for the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of the Cynoprobe system, providing intensive training and hands-on experience to ensure a thorough understanding of the technology.

Key Facts

• The Cynoprobe FAT was conducted on 3–4 February 2026 at Molycop Cikande Plant, with participants from PT. Citra Palu Mineral including Awaludin Sobir, Lombri, Siswanto, and Dimas Natanael.
• The Cynoprobe enables automatic measurement of cyanide levels in leaching facilities, providing faster and more reliable readings than manual titration, and can be integrated with plant control systems to support advanced control strategies.
• On the final day, the PT. Citra Palu Mineral team visited Molycop’s grinding media plants in Cilegon and Cikande to observe the process flow and production operations firsthand.

Supporting Customers Through Hands-On Engagement

Molycop is pleased to have hosted PT. Citra Palu Mineral for the Cynoprobe FAT, a critical step in ensuring their team is confident and capable in using the system. The FAT combined classroom instruction with hands-on training to provide an immersive experience covering all features of the Cynoprobe.
The Cynoprobe system is designed to measure cyanide concentrations automatically in leaching processes, offering faster and more precise results than traditional manual titration. By integrating the Cynoprobe with their plant control system, PT. Citra Palu Mineral will be able to implement advanced control strategies based on live, real-time data—helping to optimise process efficiency and plant performance.

Experiencing Production Excellence

On 5 February, the visiting team toured Molycop’s grinding media plants in Cilegon and Cikande. They observed the full production process and gained insights into Molycop’s operations, highlighting our commitment to transparency and knowledge sharing with customers.
Bambang Edi Budianto and Gideon Saputra, part of the Molycop team supporting the project, facilitated both the FAT and plant tour, ensuring that PT. Citra Palu Mineral received expert guidance and direct experience with our technologies and production capabilities.
