Hugh McRae, a Steelmaking Shift Team Leader in Newcastle, Australia, was recognised a finalist in 'The Rising Star' Category of the Hunter Manufacturing Awards 2020.

The Rising Star category recognises employees who display exceptional leadership attributes with less than five years’ experience in the industry who are having a positive impact on the business in which they are employed. 

It may be an apprentice or trainee, a university graduate, operators, or general workers who have demonstrated commitment to the business, ideas, drive and strong personal values.
