Masterclass Kalgoorlie 2025: Advancing knowledge and building connections

Masterclass Kalgoorlie 2025 brought together a diverse group of industry professionals, customers and technical experts for an immersive day of learning, collaboration and innovation at the Western Australian School of Mines, part of Curtin University.

The event provided a platform to exchange ideas, explore optimisation strategies and share the latest advancements in milling, leaching and flotation technologies.

Molycop’s team of experts – Danh Chung, Giehard Nebre, Pieter Strobos and Dr Yufan Mu – delivered a series of engaging and insightful presentations covering:
  • optimising milling performance, from fundamentals to practical plant trials
  • turning data into results, showcasing how instrumentation, advanced control and analytics drive measurable improvements in throughput, recovery and efficiency
  • the Mill Family Model, a data-driven approach to smarter grinding media selection that leverages machine learning for faster, more consistent decisions.

Supporting Western Australian mining operations

The Masterclass was an opportunity for Molycop to reinforce its longstanding connection with the Western Australian mining sector and to show its support for some of the most significant gold and base metal operations in the state.
