As one of Latin America’s most anticipated mining events, the XXXVI International Mining Congress and Exhibition brings together the region’s mining community to share insights, strengthen partnerships and explore the technologies shaping the future of mineral processing.
Carlos Soltero, Molycop’s Country Manager for operations in Mexico, says the event gives Molycop an opportunity to maintain close connections with customers and the wider mining ecosystem:
The International Mining Congress allows us to engage directly with our customers – both current partners and new contacts – and to listen, share and learn from the broader industry. Mining in Mexico continues to evolve rapidly, and events like this help us stay connected with the challenges and innovations that are shaping our customers’ operations.
Members of Molycop's Technical Applications and R&D teams will be on hand to discuss real-world challenges and demonstrate the latest tools and technologies for plant optimisation.
Carlos Soltero, Molycop’s Mexico Country Manager: “We're here to support every stage of mineral processing.”Beyond networking, the congress offers Molycop a platform to show how it continues to expand beyond provision of grinding media and now offers a full suite of integrated products and services.
“It’s a great platform to show how Molycop is evolving as a complete solutions partner,” Carlos says. “From digital analytics and flotation products to technical training and process optimisation, we’re here to support every stage of mineral processing.”
A strong technical presence
A highlight of the congress will be a technical presentation by Rocío Santos, R&D Support Engineer at Molycop. Her paper, Electrochemistry in Flotation: From Pulp Chemistry to Process Optimisation, explores how monitoring the electrochemical environment of flotation circuits can reveal new opportunities for improving recovery and grade.“We’re very proud to have Rocío presenting her work this year,” says Carlos. “Her research reflects the depth of technical capability within Molycop and the innovation emerging from our regional teams. It’s exciting to see our people contributing directly to the advancement of mineral-processing knowledge in Latin America.”
Rocío Santos, Molycop R&D Support Engineer, will give a technical presentation at the event.Molycop’s participation in the event also underscores its longstanding commitment to local engagement and regional development.
“Molycop has a strong local presence in Mexico and across Latin America, with long-term relationships with leading mining companies,” Carlos explains. “Participating in events like this reinforces our commitment to being close to our customers, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that add real value.”
