Molycop reconnected with clients, colleagues and industry peers at MetFest, hosted in Orange by AusIMM (the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy). Molycop was a session sponsor at the event, an important platform for fostering knowledge sharing, collaboration and innovation across the mining and metallurgy sector.

Professional exchange

MetFest 2025 brought together professionals from across the industry, offering an opportunity to exchange insights, discuss emerging challenges and explore opportunities for technological and operational advancement. 

A highlight for participants was a site tour hosted by Newmont Cadia, including a visit to Cadia’s operations site and molybdenum plant. Guests gained a first-hand understanding of the organisation’s processes and operations, which contributed to discussions on efficiency, optimisation and innovative solutions.
