Molycop Training in Mexico: Supporting Customers Through Practical, Data-Driven Learning
Molycop recently delivered a three-day technical training program in Mexico from March 24–26, 2026, working closely with Minera Fresnillo to support plant advisors and supervisors through targeted, practical learning. The session brought together 10 participants from site-based operational roles, with the program delivered by Erika Duran. The training focused on strengthening core comminution knowledge and connecting these fundamentals directly to plant performance.

Supporting Customers Through Molycop Training
Molycop Training is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice—equipping site teams with the tools and understanding needed to make informed, data-driven decisions.Across the three days, participants engaged in a structured program that combined foundational comminution concepts with hands-on application. The agenda included:
• Introduction to grinding and power demand
• Bond’s Law and classification
• Grinding media selection and performance
• Introduction to Molycop Tools, supported by practical exercises using simulation templates
By incorporating Molycop Tools into the sessions, participants were able to apply concepts in a practical setting—gaining a clearer understanding of how simulation can support optimisation, planning, and operational decision-making.
Building Capability Through Practical Application
A key focus of the training was ensuring participants could connect technical concepts to real plant conditions. Through guided exercises and discussion, attendees explored how variables such as grind size, classification efficiency, and media selection influence overall circuit performance. This practical, applied approach is central to Molycop Training—supporting customers not only in understanding their processes, but in building the capability to continuously improve them.

Strong Engagement and Positive Feedback
The sessions were met with strong engagement from participants, with feedback described as wholly positive. Attendees highlighted the value of combining technical depth with practical tools, reinforcing the importance of structured analysis, data quality, and informed decision-making in modern mineral processing operations.
Recognising Collaboration and Delivery
The successful delivery of this program reflects strong collaboration between Molycop and our customers. We acknowledge the efforts of our team in Mexico for organising the session, and the contribution of Erika Duran for leading the training.
We also thank Minera Fresnillo for the opportunity and their active participation throughout the program. We look forward to returning and continuing to support their operations.
