Molycop Chile recently took centre stage at Procemin-Geomet 2024, one of the premier events in the mining industry. Over the course of three insightful days, we were thrilled to connect with industry professionals, exchange ideas, and showcase our latest innovations.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand. It was great to catch up with our customers and colleagues, and engage in meaningful conversations about the future of mining.

A special highlight of the event was the opportunity to feature presentations from two of our distinguished experts. Dr Paul Shelley, Molycop’s Vice President of Innovation, shared his deep expertise on the challenges of marked ball wear tests in the development of advanced grinding media products. His insights underscored the complex demands of modern mining and how Molycop is at the forefront of creating solutions that meet these needs.
Felipe Ignacio Varela Canales, Head of the Laboratory at Molycop Chile, also delivered a groundbreaking presentation on copper mineral processing using seawater. Felipe’s study highlighted significant advancements in the recovery and quality of copper concentrate under high salinity conditions, an area of growing importance as the industry seeks more sustainable practices.
These presentations not only demonstrated our ongoing commitment to innovation but also reinforced the importance of events like Procemin-Geomet. Such platforms are vital for the exchange of ideas, learning from one another, and ensuring that we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the mining industry.
We appreciate the opportunity to participate in this event and look forward to continuing these important conversations.
