About the event
The XXXVI International Mining Congress and Exhibition is a premier mining industry event in Latin America. Organised by the Asociación de Ingenieros de Minas, Metalurgistas y Geólogos de México (AIMMGM), the convention is expected to attract over 14,000 participants, including professionals, academics and government representatives. The event will feature more than 40 conferences and workshops, an expansive mining expo with over 320 exhibitors, and various networking activities such as technical panels, business forums and social events. Under the theme ‘Mining United for Mexico’, the convention aims to foster collaboration and innovation within the sector. Notably, the decision to host the event in Acapulco reflects the industry's solidarity with the region, supporting its recovery from recent natural disasters.
