Overview

Molycop’s MillSlicer is an advanced measurement system used in SAG, AG and other milling applications. It features vibration sensors mounted on the mill shell that measure angular impact intensity, maximum impact angle, and impact centroid. These insights help infer charge distribution and mill conditions, enabling optimal impact alignment for improved performance.

MillSlicer is seamlessly integrated with the Molycop Data Platform, which securely collates live operating data in the cloud, allowing remote experts to visualise and analyse mill performance in real time.

Leveraging proprietary data analytics, MillSlicer combines its signals with plant data to calculate live charge volume and steel charge during operation. It also serves as a historical process record and can incorporate additional data sources, such as mining and geo-metallurgy, to enable predictive control.
